McLean Hallmark is proud to be a program partner with Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO). CMHO works to promote a coordinated and high quality system of care that puts children, youth and families first.
Our program supports the risk management for CMHO’s nearly 100 member organizations across the province who offer targeted prevention, early intervention, short- and long-term counselling and therapy, addictions services and intensive services such as residential care.
Our team understands the risks faced by CMHO organizations and has put together a program that ensures their risks are managed, so they can focus on doing what they do best; helping children.
This program covers these three common types of claims and much more:
Directors and Officers (D&O)A member of your staff names your agency or a board member in a Human Rights Tribunal (HRT)
HRT claims are very common today due to ease of filing (no lawyer required, online filing)
HRT claims can involve discrimination, harassment, racism or wrongful dismissal
Claims are settled for between $20,000 and $40,000
The program will cover you for the settlement and your defense costs.
