Client Executive – Insignia

Reports to: Insignia, Assistant Vice President

Job Summary

To grow the Insignia Private Client portfolio by connecting with and customizing comprehensive insurance solutions that suit the needs of successful and accomplished individuals and families.

General Description

  • Sell and cross sell personal insurance products to prospects through networking, referrals and inbound and outbound call activity
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive prospecting and sales plan that will help drive sales
  • Work in partnership with your account management team to ensure the needs of existing clients are met and client retention exceeds 95%
  • Attend weekly commercial sales meetings
  • Individual lead generation activity & in collaboration with group program, benefits, sales and marketing colleagues to achieve agreed monthly sales targets
  • Provide customized advice, council regarding coverage, appropriate products, pricing and payment options
  • Review policy wordings and documents to ensure accuracy and adequacy
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures including full documentation of client communication, prospecting and follow-up efforts in Agency Manager and collecting accounts receivables
  • Insurer portal transactions/activity
  • Function as first line underwriters, qualifying clients to maintain and promote quality business representing corporate objectives
  • Manage professional relationships with business partners
  • Participate as requested in PL planning and execution of growth, retention and continuous improvement goals and action plans
  • Maintain RIBO hours as defined by RIBO continuing education guidelines

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma with a university degree being preferred
  • RIBO license in good standing
  • 5+ years of P&C and or VIP personal insurance experience is desired
  • Excellent computer skills expected and Sigxp, TAM or EPIC fluency an asset
  • Strong negotiation, sales and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills including presentation skills
